Choir Camp

Choir camp is a one-week residential camp for children ages 7-17.
With approximately 70 children and 30 counselors, days and evenings are filled with intense music-making, and daily activities such as chorus, instrumental lessons, arts and crafts, drama, swimming and sports. All of these efforts result in the production of a major concert and dramatic musical presentation on the last day.
Camp is focused on achieving these goals through an environment of mutual respect, team-building and collaboration. The camp is located in a beautiful facility in Warwick, New York and runs during late July or early August each year. It's a wonderful true “home away from home” experience!
Camp 2023 Dates: Sunday July 23 - Saturday July 29, 2023

Concert Choir & Ensemble

The Concert Choir is a 50 member intergenerational chorus consisting of children and adults, and performs regularly throughout the year for civic, private, and inter-faith events. The children come from both the Choir Camp and the After-School Music Program; many of the adults were once children in the choir themselves. The choir is accompanied in major concerts by an instrumental ensemble comprised of our After-School Music Program teen volunteers, Board members, and advanced students. A major highlight of each year is the annual Concert for Peace held each December. The Choir has produced 2 CDs which are available for sale. The Choir is always looking for new members who enjoy sharing a love for choral music!
Rehearsal Times: Youth Choir (ages 7-17) rehearses Saturdays 12:00-1:00 p.m. during the school year. Adult Choir rehearses as needed in preparation for major performances.
Fee: Free when already enrolled in our After-School Music Program; 12 per class for those not playing an instrument.
