Youth Choir

The Youth Choir is for children 7 through 17 who enjoy singing together. The Youth Choir performs regularly throughout the year for civic, community, private, and interfaith events. The children come from the After-School Music Program, Choir Camp, and the outside community. In recent years, the Youth Choir has performed the National Anthem at local sporting events; sang in community events such as the New Rochelle community collaboration of "Peter and the Wolf"; and performed in productions with the New Rochelle Opera and other local arts organizations.

Rehearsal Times: Saturdays 12:00-1:00 pm during the school year

Fee: Free when already enrolled in our After-School Music Program; $15 per class for those not playing an instrument.

Intergenerational Concert Choir & Ensemble

The intergenerational choir is a 50-member chorus consisting of a Youth Choir and an Adult Choir that performs regularly throughout the year for civic, private, and inter-faith events. The children come from both Choir Camp and the After-School Music Program; many of the adults were once children in the choir themselves. The choir is accompanied in major concerts by an instrumental ensemble comprised of our After-School Music Program teen volunteers, Board members, and advanced students. A major highlight of each year is the annual Concert for Peace held each December. The Choir has produced 2 CDs which are available for sale.

The Choir is always looking for new members who enjoy sharing a love for choral music!

Rehearsal Times: The Adult Choir holds seasonal weekday evening rehearsals as needed in preparation for major performances.
