Kathleen McEntee-Lawlor is the assistant director and has been with Songcatchers since 1996. She became involved with Songcatchers in high school, and was an original After-School Music Program volunteer. As Assistant Director, Kathleen oversees programming and events, manages Songcatchers' youth volunteers, and directs the Youth Choir. She also teaches classes in the Early Piano program, serves on Staff for Choir Camp, and  sings in Songcatchers' Concert Choir.

In addition to her work at Songcatchers, Kathleen teaches K-8 general music, piano, and drama at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School in the Bronx; directs the Youth Choir at Holy Name of Jesus Church in New Rochelle; and teaches private piano lessons.
