Happy New Year! After a busy 2021, Songcatchers is excited for the start of 2022. After an extended holiday break, we have resumed in-person classes -- safely masked, socially-distanced, and sanitized, of course!
2022 is a special year because we are celebrating 25 years of our After-School Music Program! Way back in 1997, Sr. Beth and 8 volunteers came together to provide instrumental lessons for 35 children in 4 instruments: piano, flute/recorder, guitar, and violin. Since then, we have grown and now serve 85 children, who take over 100 lessons, in 12 instruments. These children are being taught by 60 talented high-school, college, and community volunteers.
